Our home is located on the south shore of the largest basin on Crooked Lake in Angola, Indiana. The home faces north and enjoys beautiful sunsets and wonderful water views. Because of the location of the home and shade trees, it is sunny and bright but comfortable all day. The home is within walking distance of Captain's Cabin, a local restaurant. From our deck we see fireworks, hear concerts in the distance, and watch boats, kayakers, and skiers go by as well as see the occasional sea plane landing for dinner at the restaurant. The master bedroom has large windows facing the lake and both the first floor and the walk-out basement level have decks facing the water. A new 60 foot long pier has a 10' x 12' area at the end for entertaining on the water. The sand is soft but protective water shoes are recommended. The kitchen has new appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, stove, and microwave) and a round oak dining table. The adjacent living room has large windows to enjoy the lake view, a comfortable sofa, a large TV with cable, several chairs, books, games, puzzles and a game table. A cozy screened in porch leads to the deck. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (1 master with a California King bed and a large guest room with queen and a separate "twin-over-full" bunk bed). If two sleep in the full bed, the home accommodates an additional person. There is a full bath with a shower & tub that is shared by the upstairs bedrooms. The finished basement can be accessed from inside or outside the home. The basement has a bedroom with a queen bed and small twin bunk bed over a closet. Note: the bunk bed has low clearance - if used, then the house accommodates an additional person. The basement also has a living area with a large flat screen TV, a couch and an adjacent full bathroom with shower. The basement has a covered patio with a charcoal grill and stairs leading down to the lake. With great views also comes many stairs so all guest should be able to navigate stairs and take great care to not run or fall. The home is ideal for 6-7 adults and 3-4 children, for a total of 10 people. Small pets considered, but there is only a small grass area near the water and the property is not fenced. Our small dog visits but we keep her on a leash when she is outside. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm on Saturdays and check-out is by 11 am on Saturdays. One week minimum stay required. Testimonial: We had a great stay at the cabins. Property and cabins were clean and matched the pictures on listing exactly. We were able to split our group up among the 2 cabins which gave us plenty room to sleep and hang out. Both cabins have big decks with seating to relax by the water. We were able to use the dock to hook our boat up to when we wanted a break from the water. The cabins were an easy walk from many restaurants and bars which was a huge plus! The owner was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. Great rental and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful waterfront home with large yard, our home is set back from the water. We are located on the middle basin of Lake James facing Pokagon State Park. This home is built on a hill and has lots of stairs and is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or wheelchairs. Absolutely no more than 10 guests at any time. This includes day guests. Parking for 4 cars. No large groups or noisy parties. The house is updated with all the kitchen amenities, granite counters, dishwasher, wine cooler, eat in kitchen, diningroom, living room, gas fireplace, 2 large screen TV's, two outdoor decks. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING. Bedrooms consist of one king, one double and two twins on upper level and one queen bed and two twins on the lower level. The lower level also has a washer and dryer and an extra refrigerator in the full bathroom. Sheets and towels are not provided, blankets are. Outside there are two full decks to enjoy the lake view or to have dinner and wine and enjoy the sunset. The lower deck is dry if it rains or is too hot, so it's a nice gathering place in the summer. There is also a small beach house down by the lake side which is screened in and provides additional seating in the summer, a table/chairs for games and a 1/2 bath. There is a large dock and space for you to bring 1 boat only. There's also an outdoor gas grill and gas fire pit and the use of our 3 kayaks (one is small for a child) Sandy bottom and nice swim area off of the dock.

Jimmerson Lake Home perfect for a summer vacation. The home has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths on a large 1/2 acre lot. Home is situated on a channel on the land side of an island surrounded by well kept homes. Jimmerson Lake channel with dock space to allow access to all of the Lake James chain. Jimmerson Lake is connected to Lake James and three other lakes (Snow, Big Otter, and Little Otter). If you plan to bring your boat, there is plenty of lake area to explore and enjoy!! Comfortably sleeps 10 adults, and there is a bunk bed that could sleep two additional children. The house sits on a very large lot that has a large driveway for parking cars or storing your boat trailer for the week. The house has a large updated deck and fire pit in the front year. A bonus is the playset and large sandbox in the front yard for the kiddos to play in between boating. There are many places within a short (five minute) car ride such as: Mad Anthony Lakeview Ale House, Tom’s Donuts, Acapulco Mexican Grill, and Club Paradise (for nightlife). This quiet lake front cottage located on Little Otter Lake in the Lake James Chain offers the best of both worlds. Little Otter Lake is great for fishing, kayaking and swimming. A fifteen minute boat ride through the Big Otter Lake channel connects you to skiing, tubing and more on Snow Lake, Lake James and Jimmerson Lake. Row boat and Kayak are included in the rental. However you will need to provide your own speed boat or pontoon boat. Dock space is available. This two story, 1,100 square foot home, with 160 feet of lake frontage has all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The interior of the cottage is clean and inviting. Bedrooms and bathroom are located on the top level. The front bedroom has a deck with a remote control awning great for morning coffee, reading, and evening cocktails. Two local wineries and two breweries are within 5 miles as well as a variety of local and chain restaurants. The cottage is situated on a third of an acre with plenty of outdoor space for games and fun. The lot has both shaded and sunny areas while the beach is firm and great for swimming. Little Otter lake is known for great fishing and Tri-State Bait and Tackle is only 0.2 miles away. Potawatomi Snowmobile trails with 35 miles of trails, are 7 miles away.

From the moment you pull into the drive, you will begin to feel the stress of your day to day melt away. This cottage is large enough to host a large group, with separate areas to gather in smaller groups and still enjoy everyone being together in one place. The public boat launch is just a short walk from this home where our dock is located for your family to swim and fish from while also being able to take in breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. Just up the hill is the public beach area. Here you can also enjoy a pizza or some ice cream. Hopefully you will only experience sunshine during your stay at the lake, but if bad weather should arise, there is still plenty to do at this home. There is a pool table, darts, arcade with 60 games, and most of the tv’s are set up with a Roku for you to watch any of your streaming accounts. There is a grill, fire pit, and picnic table included for you to enjoy the outdoors during your stay. Clear Lake is an all sports lake with an island where everyone gathers to enjoy the sandy bottom and unwind. Please note that this is an older cottage. The water can be very hard and we would rather make you aware up front to help manage expectations. Internet at times has been known to go out and typically can be resolved quickly. It is still a great place that our family and other families have come to enjoy!
